New CD!

"Borbély Mihály Balkán Jazz Project feat. Theodosii Spassov Live at Fonó"

The band played the material of the new album at the Palace of Arts as CD release concert on 18th November, and the concert won great succes. The new album is now available by Fonó.

"Hommage á Kodály", the new CD of the Mihály Borbély Quartet (with cellist Balázs Kántor) released by BMC Records is available. The album is exceptional because the same musicians play the twentieth century classical chamber music of Kodály and the jazz pieces of Mihály Borbély. The concert program won succes in Hungary and also in Paris and in Rome.

"New Sounds I" and "New Sounds II" the third and fourth album of the Károly Binder - Mihály Borbély duo (released by BMM) also in the shops.
The title refers not just to the first album of the duo ("Sounds") but also to the exceptional sounds and timbres of the fully improvised music.
